Break out the generational Porcelain

To village - Hong Kong

Caratoes visited her ancestral village in Hong Kong, a small and humble farming community where, until 2010, only those with proven ties to the To bloodline were permitted entry. She sought to capture the unique facial features that have been passed down through generations of the To lineage. The mural she created is a tribute of gratitude, honoring the lives and sacrifices of her ancestors that made it possible for her to exist today as a world-traveling muralist.
